ZPD+A Architects, in collaboration with Mekus Tanager Inc., documented significant developments during the February site visit at Our Lady of Hope at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Construction continues to develop during the cold, short days of winter to reveal substantial progress as the chapel and mausoleum begin to emerge as we move into spring.
Mekus Tanager brings extensive experience in mausoleum design, while ZPD+A is leading the design of the chapel and coordinating the overall architectural vision. The master plan shown in the previous renders is now translating to a building in real time, with dignified presence, balance and formality. We are thrilled to see the vision come together and will be sure to share more in the upcoming months.

The mausoleum buildings arc gracefully along the landscape, their faceted crypt faces orchestrating a sequence of dynamic views. At the complex's center, the chapel anchors both the spiritual and ceremonial life of the cemetery. A sweeping pitched roof crowns the structure, lifting above the roofline as an emblem of hope and flooding the interior with generous natural light. To see the latest, follow us at our IG, zpd.a
