Construction continues at Our Lady of Hope with steady progress visible throughout the site. ZPD+A Architects, in collaboration with Mekus Tanager Inc., documented significant developments during the August site visit at Our Lady of Hope at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Interior framing and MEP rough-ins are taking shape, defining the chapel’s interior spaces and preparing them for the next phases of construction. Glazing installation is on the horizon, and finishes will soon begin bringing warmth, character, and detail to the chapel spaces. As these elements come together, the design intent is becoming increasingly visible, offering a clearer sense of the atmosphere and experience the completed chapel will provide.

The mausoleums continue to progress alongside the chapel, with cladding on the first nearing completion and work advancing quickly on the remaining buildings. Exterior materials are beginning to establish the architectural character of the complex and create a cohesive relationship between the chapel and surrounding mausoleums. Across the site, multiple trades are working in coordination as construction transitions from major building systems toward the more visible architectural details. Each milestone brings the project closer to realizing a thoughtful, enduring place for reflection, remembrance, and gathering.
