A cross-country relocation has plenty of moving parts: Sky House was a full service project that moved from a sprawling West Coast residence to Chicago, Illinois. A comprehensive effort that required interstate logistics, downsizing a home, antique valuations, as well as a Fine Art moving team to a 3500 sf urbane high-rise home.

Did we mention this was during the pandemic?

Priorities were durability without sacrificing desired materiality, elevated detail and elegance. With this in mind we were able to adorn this aerie with exotic finishes, sumptuous fabrics, custom lighting and bespoke drapery. Well worth the effort, and generously inspired by the endless sky horizon, the stunning vistas provided a dramatic canvas that reflected nature's multiplicity of colors and ever-changing mood. Suffused with light, rainbows, clouds as well as texture, color and luminosity, interior considerations were generative and robust.
