We transformed a 10,000 square foot crumbling historically landmarked ballroom into a dynamic office environment for an energetic real estate company. The Chicago Landmark Commission approved the remodel on the condition that original details be restored, leading to a lengthy and detailed process reviving the original gilded plasterwork and glimmering chandelier while updating the room to handle contemporary power, data and space needs.

 

Flexible desking occupies the central ballroom, while conference rooms and meeting spaces are slotted in to the perimeter. Communication Stations and Privacy Pods provide a variety of quiet conversation areas to satisfy a range of group sizes, and the central meeting desk is a great destination for large team meetings.
