Lake Point Tower: An Interior Refresh

We're super excited to kick off this new project in this iconic residential building, Lake Point Tower. A true Chicago original at the precipice of Navy Pier with an epic view of the Lake Michigan horizon. It’s not the first time we have done work in the building either- each floor features photography by zpd+a principal, Anthony Zahner. Needless to say, it’s great to be back.

The radial view from the 46th floor is unparalleled and ready for an interior refresh that reflects the client's imagination. The sinuous wall of windows flood the home with light, further enhanced by polished cream-colored marble floors, instilling a sense of expanse and loftiness. Lake Point Tower’s unique floorplan gives us the latitude to embrace the delight and challenges provided by the flow of curvature curve.  

Biophilic design is easy in a place that celebrates nature by design: our color palette echoes the serene blues of the sky and the lake, adding textural materiality with warm metallics of aged bronze and brass, as well as wood wall paneling and custom millwork infusing a touch of tradition. The layered materials, abundant natural light and vast views simultaneously engage the senses and soothe the soul!
