JOB TITLE
Architectural Designer (Architectural Staff Level I)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Full time opportunity for a designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional studio setting. This opportunity will provide exposure to a variety of project types, including mixed-use multi-family developments, office interiors, and a variety of hospitality driven projects. The position will work directly with Senior Designers and Design Principals as part of a multi-disciplined design studio.
Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):
Assist with research and documentation of project related requirements including building technologies, material systems, and municipal regulations.
Support with development and production of drawings and related project documentation from Schematic Design through to Construction Documentation. This includes 3D design, presentations, drafting, and material selections.
Collaborate with design team members and consultants.
Assist with Construction Administration tasks throughout construction of the project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicant should meet the following criteria:
Professional degree in Architecture with exemplary academic design skills.
3 years or more of full-time post-graduate experience working in commercial and/or residential design.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite applications (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu preferred.
Excellent research and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to communicate regularly with staff and leadership throughout every project phase.
