A return engagement for a valued client relocating back to Chicago, Cloudline is a 5,500-square-foot luxury family residence at One Bennett Park — Robert A.M. Stern's acclaimed residential tower on Chicago's Streeterville lakefront, widely recognized as one of the most thoughtfully scaled and beautifully executed luxury addresses in the city.

zpd+a led the full interior buildout in collaboration with Hardy Construction, coordinating a multi-sensory experience across every surface, finish, and furnishing. Art advisory was provided by Jill at Jillian Mac Fine Art of New Orleans, with bespoke selections and heirloom pieces layered together to create a home filled with personality, story, and delight.

The design draws from the tower's ethereal setting — luminous views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline informing a subtle palette inspired by the colors of sunrise. Cast bronze and hammered iron introduce tactile elemental weight as counterpoint to the airy views, while the full material palette balances high-impact visual richness with the durability required of an active family home with young children and pets.

Finishes and furnishings were sourced from among the most distinguished names in luxury residential design: Holly Hunt, Phillip Jeffries, Tracy Glover Studio, Troscan Design, Pierre Frey, Anees Furniture, and Brizo. New bespoke selections pair with heirloom pieces throughout, creating a layered, expressive interior that is as hardworking as it is exquisite.
