On
February 7, 2006, HCSC chose zpd+a from a group of selected Architectural
& Engineering firms to provide tenant improvment AE services
for a new, 138,000 sq. ft. high-tech Operations Service Center to
be built at 23rd & Halsted Streets, Chicago, IL.
zpd+a has just completed
the construction phase of a 20,000 sq. ft. interior office build-out
at the BCBS of New Mexico Full-Service-Unit building in Albuquerque,
New Mexico.
On January 9, 2006, the
Town of Cicero, Illinois selected zpd+a as the Architect, in association
with Daniel Weinbach Associates, Landscape Architects, to design
a new 5 acre City Park and Field House located at 1808 Laramie Avenue,
Cicero, Illinois.
As of December 2005, zpd+a has
been retained to perform programming, space planning, and building
evaluation studies for an approximately 80,000 sq. ft. office expansion
for Hallmark Services, Inc., Aurora, Illinois.
BCBS of Illinois selects zpd+a from a group of prominent Chicago-based
architectural firms as Project Architect for a new six floor, approx.
200,000 sq. ft. interior build-out at 111. E. Wacker Drive, Chicago,
Illinois in October 2005.

In
September 2005, zpd+a was selected to prepare a space utilization
analysis and program for a proposed new Town Hall and Police Station
for the Village of Sauk Village
Also in September 2005,
the Town of Cicero retained zpd+a to prepare a space analysis study
and prepare a design program for a new Town Hall municipal complex
to include a proposed new Town Hall, Police Station, Youth Services
Facility, Parking Deck, and Master Site Plan.
In August 2005, Proviso
Township District 209 Math and Science Academy was completed and
the first freshman class of 150 students occupied the building.
Groundbreaking for the
new four story, 115,000 sq. ft. BCBS of New Mexico Headquarters
Building in Albuquerque, New Mexico occured on July 29, 2005. BCBS
is expected to occupy the facility in November 2006.
